How do I use Coffeeza Matcha Tea capsules?
1. Insert the Capsule: Place the capsule in the machine and close the lever.
2. Start Brewing: Press the espresso button to begin brewing. Let the machine run for 2-3 seconds, then press the button again to stop. This will puncture the capsule, allowing hot water to flow through the matcha powder and dissolve it.
3. Let it Settle: Wait for about 5 seconds to allow the matcha to settle.
4. Choose Your Style:
o For a Koicha (thick matcha shot): Press the espresso button again to brew a 40ml shot.
o For a Usucha (lighter matcha drink): Press the lungo button for a longer brew.
You can add frothed milk (hot/cold) to make Matcha Lattes.
What machines are Coffeeza tea capsules compatible with?
Our tea capsules work in Coffeeza machines and are also compatible with all Nespresso® Original Line machines. They are however not compatible with Nespresso® Vertuo machines.
Are capsules safe for consumption and environmentally friendly?
Yes, these aluminium capsules are safe for brewing and are 100% recyclable. Furthermore, we have a recycling program to collect used capsules from customers to make sure that these do not end up in landfills.
Can I use the Matcha Tea capsule more than once?
No, the capsule is meant for one time use only. Each capsule has been designed to encapsulate the exact quantity of matcha tea for one cup.
How many capsules come in one box?
Each box contains 10 single-serve capsules
How many calories are in Coffeeza matcha green tea capsules?
Coffeeza tea capsules contain very low calories, typically less than 5 calories per capsule. This is because they contain only green tea without any added sugars or milk.
Do flavored Coffeeza capsules have more calories?
Flavored Coffeeza capsules generally have the same low calorie count as regular capsules because they contain natural and nature identical flavors without added sugars or milk.
Is there milk in the Matcha tea pods?
No. These capsules only contain premium Matcha powder (green tea leaves are stone ground). These capsules can only be used to extract a small or long shot of matcha. You will have to add milk after brewing to make lattes.
Can I make milk-based drinks with Coffeeza capsules?
Yes, you can create milk-based beverages such as lattes and cappuccinos by adding frothed milk to your espresso brewed from Coffeeza capsules. Sometimes the machines will have an inbuilt milk frother for cappuccino/latte brewing.
How do I know which capsules taste best as which beverage?
You can brew an espresso/ lungo shot with these capsules and then make different style matcha teas like iced matcha(latte), matcha(latte), usucha(lungo), Koicha(espresso) Each capsule is very versatile. However our team has a list of recommended beverages in the listing to help you make a better choice.

The new aluminium capsules have a shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture
Do these capsules contain sugar?
No, these capsules only contain premium ground Matcha Tea powder.
How much Matcha powder does each capsule contain?
Each capsules contains 1.8g of Matcha tea powder.
Do Coffeeza capsules contain any allergens or gluten?
Coffeeza capsules are free from food allergens like dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, and eggs. Our flavored blends use natural other natural extracts. There are no actual pieces of these ingredients in the tea.
How do I dispose of my Coffeeza capsules?
Our capsules are made from recyclable aluminum, which makes them environment friendly and easily recyclable. Coffeeza also has a recycling program in place to collect back used capsules. Read more on Capsule Recycling Program.
Are the capsules compatible with CCD wakeup automatic coffee machines?
Coffeeza capsules aren't compatible with the CCD wakeup machine. They can be used with Coffeeza machines or Nespresso® Original Line and Compatible machines.
Are these compatible with Krups, Nescafé Dolce gusto machines?
No, Coffeeza tea capsules can be used in Coffeeza machines and compatible with Nespresso® Original Line machines only
